Part-Time School Bus Driver

*Job Summary*Tallulah Falls School is seeking an experienced and reliable part-time Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations on established routes.*Duties:** Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route* Ensure the bus is in good working condition before and after each trip* Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times* Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior* Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or inquiries* Keep accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption*Requirements:** High School Diploma or GED* Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements* Ability to pass a background check, DOT physical exam, drug and alcohol testing* Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the bus* Ability to drive safely in various weather conditions and traffic situations* Proficient in reading and writing for route maps and communication purposes* Experience working with children is a plus* Knowledge of behavior management techniques for passenger interactions* Registered with the Drug & Alcohol Clearing House for CDL DriversThis position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to make a positive impact on passengers' daily commutes.
