InterDigital is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join a growing global operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bi-weekly payrolls for 250+ employees within the United States and Canada. Responsible for post-processing duties related to reporting and deduction funding. Function as the Payroll Administrator for all aspects of the payroll system, including ADP Workforce Now and Workday.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for payroll administration, compliance, tax filing, and reporting.Review additional compensation, deductions adjustments, and one-time payments.Review timesheets for hourly employees and resolve any issues before processing payroll.Review employee changes in ADP through Databridge reports.Analyze payroll audit reports prior to processing to identify and resolve payroll issues.Review and validate variances and financial trends in each pay cycle across multiple entities.Monitor time off balances and holiday pay to ensure system policies work appropriately, and employees are paid accurately.Reconcile and prepare reports for employees' benefits, 401k, pension, garnishment, FSA, and DCA deductions through vendor websites.Prepare and distribute payroll reports for Accounting and HR departments.Prepare payroll journal entries, reconcile totals to payroll reports, and import journal entries into the D365 Accounting system.Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.Reconcile payroll funding with ADP-generated reports and review and investigate any variance.Review payroll adjustment report each quarter.LTI's (e-trade) processing and audit.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.Minimum five years of experience in payroll administration.ADP and Workday experience are strongly preferred.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. VLOOKUP and pivot table is a must.Strong analytical skills and attentiveness to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of employee information.Ability to research, understand and apply federal, state, and local regulations.Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.Ability to work independently and collaborate on payroll and accounting teams.Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy and proactiveness as it relates to responsibilities within the role.Ability to partner with members of the HR and Accounting team globally depending upon the need.Ability to demonstrate a global mindset when executing tasks and solving problems.Location: Wilmington, DE or Conshohocken, PA
