Job Title: Tax Manager - Private Client Services Location: Remote - TX Salary: $120K - $180K + Full Benefits + Bonus Requirements: CPA | 5+ Years in Public Accounting | Review Exp. Who Are We? We are a local public accounting firm of about 20 employees with 3 Partners coming out of Big Four. We as a firm focus on tax and accounting work for a wide range of clients. We work with a wide range of complex clients, most of which came to us from Big Four that wanted a more individual service. We see a lot of HNWI/UHNWI clients in the real estate, professional services, and entrepreneurial service spaces. We have a very laid back, professional atmosphere in the office. Most people come in the office most days out of the week because we enjoy working together and and collaborating on projects, but we have the flexibility to work from home when needed. Our busy seasons average 50-55 hours a week but we will never ask to go over 60 hours on peak weeks. Outside of busy season we sit right at 40 hours a week. Overall we are looking for a generalist type Tax Manager. Our client book is very similar to a Private Client book as we have a lot of HNWI/UHNWI part of a large business with multiple smaller businesses that come along with them. We have a lot of complexity to our clients for a good daily challenge to keep you engaged. What You Need 5+ Years in Public Accounting Active CPA or EA Expertise in Business and Individual Tax Privately Held Businesses HNWIs, Partnerships, s-corps, trust & estate, some c-corps Clients generating ($5 million - $200 million in annual revenue) Experience Training, Mentoring, and Supervising Multi-Person Teams What You Will Be Doing Prepare & Review Complex Tax Returns Private Client Services HNWIs w/ multiple businesses attached Client Management - Direct Contact with clients for tax planning, consulting, and identifying tax issues Researching Complex Tax Issues Train & Mentor Team of multiple levels of employees Managing Multiple Engagements for Multiple Clients at all times Benefits Base Salary: $120,000-$180,000 Full Medical, Dental, Vision 90% of premium covered for employee 4 weeks starting PTO 401k w/ match Profit Share Annual Bonus (up to 30%) Capped Busy Season Hours (55-60hrs) Summer Flex Hours Work from home Capability Path to Partner Email Your Resume In Word To Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
