Responsibilities:
Team Select Home Care is looking for a People Services Specialist to join our Team Select family.
The People Services Specialist conducts orientation and onboarding activities for new hire and rehire employees within their assigned customer group.
In addition, the PSS manages and updates employee files to ensure they are up to date and compliant.
The People Services Specialist will report to the Director of Operations. Performs some or all of the following functional areas as assigned by HRM: HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employmentAssists HRM/department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation program.Maintains human resources information system records (ADP, Revver, HCHB/Cubhub, iCIMS, Relias, and Docusign), and compiles reports as needed/assigned.Assists/performs background screening, pulling investigation reports, court records, reference checks and any other credential verifications necessary.Coordinates performance review process for all employees assignedCoordinates equipment/device needs including setup and transitions to preceptor for documentation orientationMaintains the employee renewable requirements and proactively notifies employees/managers prior to expiration of HR documents.Prepares or maintains employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.Coordinates with HRM on tasks pertaining to benefits and payrollMaintains strict confidentiality on patient, agency, and employee matters.Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficientlyStrives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with othersAttains goals as agreed upon with the HRMOther duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or 1+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
