Personal Trainer

We are a new and innovative health club in need of personal trainers to assist our clients in reaching their fitness objectives. You'll be working with clients to assess their fitness levels, develop customized training routines, and ensure they're using equipment safely. We leverage technology to make you shine as a trainer. This position requires excellent customer service skills as well as a passion for fitness and assisting others with their health and wellness. Responsibilities Create personalized workout routines to help clients accomplish their fitness objectives while remaining within their present physical capabilityEnsure all workout programs are appropriate for each client by doing individualized fitness evaluationsMaintain all gym standards and safety requirements to ensure that clients are safe and comfortable while working outTrack and adjust client progress and make changes to fitness plans accordinglyDecrease the chance of injury by teaching clients appropriate techniques for all exercises, especially for specialized equipmentProvide clients with ongoing oversight, motivational support and encouragementSell additional gym programs to members and work with membership coordinators to assess a member's historySupport the Front desk and floor when not training clientsAttend monthly staff meetings, or as requiredAssist with maintenance of facilityQualifications Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkersProven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentalityOutstanding time management and organizational skillsCurrent CPR/AED certificationMinimum of 6 months personal training experienceCurrent nationally recognized personal training certification: NASM, ACE, AFAA, or ACSM, CFSC, NSCA
