Responsibilities
• Engages patients and resolves issues• Counsels patients on medication usage• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding and drug therapy reviews• Ensures pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and seeks productivity improvements• Processes insurance claims and follows up with insurance companies• Follows up with medical providers' offices• Performs clinical and wellness services• Analyzes performance data and develops connections with medical community• Assists with patient registration and resolves issues
Requirements
• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district• Experience in prescription dispensing and knowledge of controlled substance laws• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one• At least 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy setting
