Planner, Contracts (Technical Services) – Universal Epic Universe

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the contract planning and execution of third-party vendors under routine Master Services Agreements (MSA). Ensures all vendors meet the requirements set forth within Universal Destinations and Experiences' (UDX) standards, local codes and regulations, industry standards for care, and contract documents. Manages all documentation related to labor/parts procurement, preventative maintenance programs, and regulatory requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate third-party planning and execution by serving as liaison between vendors and the venues for all scopes of work covered by the MSA sitewide. Coordinate work schedule with the area/trade manager to accommodate both vendor and venue availability and assure all tooling and parts are available for project completion. Works closely with the facilities and utilities management team in planning projects providing a detailed scope of work, written procedures, estimated time, materials, resources needed for all work related to the MSA scope. Coordinate with all internal UDX teams to support the MSA overall objectives.
Parts/Service procurement to include comparative shopping for materials, parts as well as bids for parts and services on an as needed or emergency basis. Management of equipment rentals. Enter Discretionary Work Requests and create work orders for interdepartmental fabrication and/or services. Purchase and maintain utilities tooling as required. Completing all necessary documentation, requests, and justification for purchasing items.
Maintains proper document control by ensuring facilities and utilities records are up to date and in accordance with the most recent UDX requirements. Partner with Facilities/Utilities Engineering and manufacturers for drawing and procedural updates, creating and maintaining reports as needed.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Technical school or Associate degree (AA) in General Education or Technology preferred.
EXPERIENCE:

5+ years' experience in technical maintenance required
3+ years' experience in 3rd party vendor oversight preferred;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
