ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide Policy Services Support . Provide Underwriting Support. Rate & issue system generated and manually issued policies. Communicate daily with agents as needed. Performs processing and underwriting tasks as determined by the processing manager, including new business screening, renewal and endorsement issuance, rating, and quoting. Renewal and Pre-renewal processing. Loss control process for renewal policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to interact with others in a professional manner. Attendance. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCITONS: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Insurance classes a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
High level of Excel and Word required. A minimum of 3 years insurance experience required. Rating experience in all lines (Property, GL, and Work Comp). Able to comprehend, carry out instructions and detail oriented. Flexible and able to handle multi-task assignments. ISO/NCCI knowledge required. Minimum travel required. Sit, stand, walk/ambulatory. Ability to lift 10 pounds.
Pay Range - Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate's skills and professional experience, geographic location, market, and other potential factors.
It is not standard practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between $33,200 and $55,500.
