Position: Minister

Salem is located in Ponca, NE. We are a thriving small town, nestled in the rolling hills of northeast NE, next to Ponca State Park and the Missouri River. We have a newer school, sports complex, golf course, medical clinic, pharmacy, quick shop, fuel stops, grocery, and more. Our community has a very kind and welcoming atmosphere.
Salem's current mission statement is as follows: "Welcomed by God to grow and serve in the Christian journey through faith, hope, and love." We seek someone who will help us continue to grow our faith, hope, and love by leading us as disciples.
The primary goal of Salem is to find a minister who will help grow in faith through leadership, longevity, and love for our church family. We hope for someone who is a deeply rooted Christian, based on scripture and social evangelism. Our congregation would like to become more centered on Christ alone, striving to be stewards of God's word and deed.
We aim to find a pastor that is centered on the education of our youth and interacts well with them, as we identify them as the future of our congregation. The congregation wants to "hear it on Sunday and practice it on Monday." In essence, we are looking for a minister that aligns with our commitments to our Lord and Savior and our church family, and will work together with our congregation to achieve this.
