Position Overview
The Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte (LACCC) seeks a dynamic President & CEO to lead its next chapter.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO will oversee a $1M+ budget, manage a team of five, and drive strategic, operational, and financial success to support over 8,000 Latin American business owners and leaders in the region.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead with vision, guiding strategic and operational functions.Develop and execute a strategic plan to foster economic growth for Latino businesses.Build authentic relationships with stakeholders, including government and corporate partners.Ensure compliance, effectiveness, and fiscal management of the Chamber.Partner with the Board to create and implement fundraising strategies.Cultivate relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, and grantmakers.Oversee grant management and diversify revenue streams.Board Relations: Collaborate with the Board to evaluate and execute strategic goals.Engage the Board in identifying and addressing opportunities and challenges.Membership & Community Engagement: Enhance member value through recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives.Advocate for Latino business leaders and foster partnerships that benefit the community.Represent LACCC at civic and community events, demonstrating bicultural competency.Operations & Staff Management: Oversee programs, events, and operational initiatives.Foster staff development and promote an inclusive, innovative workplace.Implement systems for performance reporting and organizational efficiency.Qualifications: Passion for LACCC's mission and values, with a focus on inclusion.10+ years of nonprofit leadership experience.Expertise in fundraising, advocacy, operations, and staff management.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base salary starting at $105,000.Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, automobile stipend, and paid time off.To Apply LACCC has partnered with recruiting consultant Tanya Varanelli to support this leadership search.
