Overview:
THE ROLE: As a Principal Product Manager - Ecommerce, you will play a critical part in driving the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of B2B2C commerce solutions, taking ownership of the product lifecycle from inception to delivery.
Applying your expertise, you will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with partners, and make data-driven decisions to craft our product roadmap.
As a key member of our product team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of shopping experiences for our distributors and customers. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: Lead the strategic direction and product roadmap for our ecommerce product functions such as Online Catalog, Inventory, Promotions, Checkout, Payments and Order Management. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Gather and analyze customer feedback, user data, and market insights to drive product innovation and improvement. Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Translate customer requirements into actionable product features and specifications. Runs pulse check, handles product backlog, develops requirement documentation, and handles support tickets involving all key teams to secure resolution. Coordinate with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure successful product development and delivery. Define and monitor key product performance metrics, demonstrating data to inform decision-making. Work closely with UX/UI designers to build flawless and intuitive user experiences. Drive go-to-market strategies, collaborating with marketing and sales teams for successful product launches. Lead the discussion on some of the key decisions for product roadmap and delivery across cross-functional teams. Stay updated on industry trends, and standard methodologies in product management. Drive cross-functional collaboration with other product teams, understanding the needs and requirements to deliver each of the products in our portfolio Identify and supervise important metrics of projects pre and post-production and report the findings


Qualifications:
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with engineers, data scientists, data analysts and functional team members; proven ability to provide the voice of the customer Solid understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and standard processes. Strong critical thinking skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving Meticulous with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
Good understanding of technical concepts and the ability to work with Engineering teams. Ability to lead requirements gathering, story mapping, and running requirements workshops with strategic team members Ability to drive projects to completion, with strong sense of personal initiative and ownership. Self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment Empower and lead peers with positive attitude and celebrate successes of the team Experience: 5+ years in product management or business analysis (7+ years of overall work experience working on online/digital products is appreciated). 2+ years working experience in Scrum and Agile SDLC models Experience in defining the customer journey, specifications and partnering closely with technology teams, running backlog grooming meetings and prioritizing sprints Understanding of enterprise and consumer technology concepts including client/server languages and architectures, and enterprise systems. Experience in managing complex software product lifecycles, from concept to launch. Education: Bachelor's degree Preferred MBA Product Owner/PMP Certification is a plus #LI-AR1
