What You'll Do As a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Park Industries, you'll be at the forefront of innovation and technical expertise. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Leading Engineering Projects: Oversee all technical aspects of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop designs that exceed customer expectations and maintain our competitive edge. Advanced Mechanical Design & Analysis: Lead the design and analysis of complex systems, including machine structures, gearboxes, rails, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics, to deliver groundbreaking engineering solutions. Project and Resource Management: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives. Mentorship & Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by mentoring junior engineers, conducting thorough concept and design reviews, and encouraging input from all stakeholders. Customer & Technical Support: Provide expert support to customer service, field installation, and sales teams, addressing and resolving customer issues with a high degree of professionalism and technical proficiency. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Park Industries, you'll work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines remote work flexibility with onsite collaboration at our St. Cloud, MN office.

Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership or senior technical role. Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects, including budget and resource management. Deep expertise in mechanical systems design and analysis, including familiarity with the latest CAD and simulation tools. Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
