Title:Principal Scientist, Analytical Testing and Data Network in CTAD
Location: Warren, NJ

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedPrincipal Scientistto join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in analytical testing, including techniques such as PCR, Digital PCR, FLOW cytometry, and ELISA. In addition to technical expertise, strong communication skills, project/timeline management and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Perform analytical testing using various methods, including PCR, Digital PCR, FLOW cytometry, and ELISA.
Conduct data analysis and reporting with an emphasis on fast and high-quality data turnaround.
Have good understanding in analytical method development and troubleshooting, be able to provide guidance and training to junior member.
Collaborate with Method Development groups to support assay development, qualification, and transfer.

Cultivate and maintain mammalian cell cultures for experimental purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution timeline.
Interpret data and perform trend analysis to drive informed decision-making.
Interact effectively with study owner and testing laboratories.
Work with study owner to develop and implement methods to support process development and process improvement.
Maintain timely and thorough documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks. Author reports detailing experimental work and summarizing results.
Generate, qualify, and bridge critical reagents and determine acceptance criteria/range. Perform control and reference material trending analysis.
Order, track, and maintain inventory of lab supplies and reagents.

Qualifications and Experience
Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field is preferred (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology).
Minimum 6 years of experience in analytical development or analytical testing.
Hands-on experience with PCR, Digital PCR, FLOW cytometry, ELISA, and cell culture. Excellent problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience with qPCR, ddPCR and viral vector related work.
Knowledge of critical reagents and their impact on assay performance.
Fluency in English and excellent technical writing skills and proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Solid knowledge of immunology and cell biology techniques and data analysis
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in cross functional teams, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects.
Experience working in a self-driven, performance/results oriented, fast paced matrix environment.
Proficiency utilizing MS Office products and statistical software.
Flexibility to work rotating offset shifts (early morning, evening and/or weekend shifts).
