Role Overview: The Press Operator is an essential member of our client's team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels. This role involves continuous monitoring of label quality and press conditions to ensure top-notch product delivery.
Responsibilities: Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines, and report all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignments. Complete make-ready tasks in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure the correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used. Operate the press to produce products in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency. Perform critical quality checks during the production run, including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion, to ensure conformance to all quality standards. Responsible for completing all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard. Qualifications: Experience as a Press Operator - multi-color. Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
