Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator (Machinery & Indirect)

We are looking for an entry level to experienced Purchasing Coordinator to support Machinery & Indirect purchasing (MRO, spare parts, and general supplies, etc.) on behalf of our company. The role is very important since our business activities cannot begin without the necessary stock.
The quality of our products are essential for our success. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be a responsible individual with great attention to detail. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will also need to negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices.
The goal is to ensure that the business will always have adequate stock/equipment that meets its production needs. That way we can deliver value to our customers through high-quality products and facilitate sustainable growth.
Research, select, and purchase Machinery and Indirect (MRO + subsidiary) materials as assignedCheck the quality and quantity of Machinery and Indirect (MRO + subsidiary) materials delivered; confirm the price for invoice matchingRequest for quotations to suppliers; compare prices for Machinery and Indirect (MRO + subsidiary) materialsPlace orders for Machinery and Indirect (MRO + subsidiary) materials referring to existing contracts and given quotationsManage stock levels for optimum efficiency and continuous improvementGR/IR clearing of all open material PO'sCommunicate with US Customs & contracted delivery units in order to complete customs clearance processes in accordance with the legal instructions and internal regulationsCheck the documents related to Machinery and Indirect (MRO + subsidiary) material purchasing; ensure accurate bookkeeping in the system in a timely mannerCreate a monthly cash flow report for the Purchasing TeamPerform other duties as assigned Education:
(Required) Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience(Preferred) Purchasing Management major or advanced degree in a related field Experience:
(Preferred) Previous relevant experience in the manufacturing industry Physical Demands:
Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, general office environments, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeMust be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machineryMust be able to position self to file documents including the top and bottom drawers of file cabinetsMust be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds Benefits:
