Procurement Manager

An industry leading manufacturer is looking for a growth-oriented Procurement Manager to join their team of professional near Willmar, MN. Responsibilities Oversee the corporate supply chain processes and standards, driving improvements in costs and contracts. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain. Identify and assess potential suppliers, analyzing their capabilities, performance, and competitiveness as well as analyze market data, competitor information, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making. Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business or similar is required A minimum of 5 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment is required A minimum of 3 years of managing a team of buyers is required Proven negotiations and influencing skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across an organization is required Experience in managing and leading a team of purchasing professionals is required
