Overview of the Role: The Product Compliance Associate position is responsible for supporting product compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. Supports efforts to assure that products comply with organizational specifications. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Regular attendance and punctuality required Process state registration renewals - including pesticide, fertilizer, and feed Monitor and assist with the product registration discontinuance cycleResolve product compliance (stop sales) & transportation compliance issues (restrictions, NOA/import assistance)Monitor/update state/provincial/federal restrictions and item setups in SAPCreate and file applicable regulatory reports (tonnage, mill assessment, incident)Create, file and track new state registration applications - including pesticide, fertilizer, and feedReview product labels for compliance prior to final printingMaintain Product SDS databaseInput Regulatory Data into WERCS, Smarting Sorting and other databases for customersMonitor and respond to appropriate state, provincial, international, federal regulations Record keeping and database administration. Other duties as assigned Successful Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree preferred with 1-3 years' work experience dealing with product registration and compliance is required. Experience in one or more of the following areas: EPA pesticides, hazardous materials, HAZMAT, OSHA. Detail oriented. Strong organizational skills in a deadline driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
