Designer with the ability to communicate and collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, carpenters, and vendors. If you have a positive teamwork spirit and love diving into technical details, we'd love to meet you!
Skills/Qualifications:
Computer proficiency in Auto CAD, Excel and Outlook
Ability to meet or beat deadlines and manage timelines
Valid driver's license and properly insured vehicle
Primary Job Duties:
Drafting - create detailed shop drawings of windows, doors, cabinetry and furniture
Project Management – Address questions, details & revisions as they occur with the project team (shop, designer and installer) and initiate revisions to drawings
Estimating - Determine material and labor budgets in accordance with project specifications with collaboration of shop foreman as necessary in terms of joinery and/or build approach
Purchasing - facilitate the construction activities of the shop with on time deliveries of lumber, hardware, accessories, and sundries for each project with budget in mind
Other Experience a plus:
Experience with CNC related programs
Working knowledge of window & door or cabinetry construction
Compensation:

$55k-65K DOE
