As part of the dynamic, core product management team focused on cloud management and AI/ML applied to IT Operations (AIOPs), we are seeking a motivated, technology product management intern. The team is located around the world, but concentrated in San Jose, California.What You'll DoEngage with customers through a variety of channels, to understand their needs and serve as their advocateDefine detailed product definition of new impactful features and capabilitiesManage feature prioritization and trade-offs among UX, performance and operational loadWork closely with engineering teams and UX to bring products to marketWhat You'll BringYou are currently enrolled in a degree majoring in business, engineering, or a related fieldProduct management experience is highly preferred, but not required.Product Management coursework is highly preferred (university, MOOC, online, etc.)Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence stakeholdersDemonstrable projects or products which incorporate vision, prioritization, technical solutions, and end-consumers a plusComfortable working with people across teams, organizations, and geographiesSome experience with software release processes (waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.) and associated assets generation (PRDs, MRDs, user stories)Strong work ethic and motivation to dig into complex topicsPreferred QualificationsActively pursuing an MBA with bachelors in engineering or related technical field2-3 years of prior experience in one or more of the following domains: AI/ML, DevOps, Virtualization, Datacenters, Kubernetes, Automation, SaaS/Paas/IaaS solutions in public clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Perks You'll EnjoyMentorship and support from your manager and teamA multinational company with unique teammates and a vibrant Employee Resource Group CommunityCompetitive pay, all the hardware you'll need, plus wellness daysFor the in-office / hybrid: A modern office with all the snacks and beverages you can consume*The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $35-$53/hour; however, base pay may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may or may not include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
