We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to help lead AI research and product development efforts. In this role, you'll be focused on the AI experiences inside and outside of Figma. Your work will help raise the ceiling of what's possible for designers and lower the floor of who can design, using AI. You'll collaborate closely with a pioneering AI Research team, developing new models to enable step change experiences. You'll also be working with Product and Design teams to envision how interacting with these models will look and feel inside the product.What you'll do at Figma:Build and maintain a strong understanding of AI technology in the design space - its constraints, strengths and weaknesses in a fast evolving environmentUnderstand workflows and use cases for Designers inside of FigmaDefine a vision and strategy for AI driven user experiences, motivating model research and guiding product development with clear requirementsPartner with a wide range of cross-functional partners across Product, Design, Engineering, Research and Data Science to prioritize model improvements across a range of featuresPartner with Engineering to set strategy and priorities for teams and projectsWe'd love to hear from you if you have:5+ years of product management experienceProven track record shipping and iterating on AI features that drive impactExperience working in a fast-paced, scrappy environmentWhile it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:Experience AI model training, evaluation and iterationAbility to communicate clearly at different altitudes, including driving alignment with senior stakeholdersHave an affinity for the fast-paced, changing environment of a start-up, a sense of humor and get-it-done personalityExperience scaling AI solutions across multiple internal teams through frameworks and best practicesPartnering with academic institutes and other research organizationsAt Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go.
