As a Product Owner, you will be the linchpin between our development teams and stakeholders, ensuring that our product vision is realized through excellent execution. You will manage the product backlog, define user stories, and prioritize features that deliver the most value to our customers for our POS (point-of-sales) product line, including SCO (self-checkout).
As a Product Owner, you will organize, prioritize and assess work for our technology team. The ideal candidate has a combination of business acumen and technical knowledge. Open to a remote location in the United States, following Eastern or Central Time Zone working hours.
The Product Owner will:
+ Work with product management to prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders.
+ Develop clear and detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product iterations and launches.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding the POS product line.
+ Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events to gather insights and represent our brand.
+ Voice of the Customer – represent and articulate customer feedback for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Mitigate roadblocks impacting team completion of release/sprint goals.
Who You Are + Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in software development.
+ Expertise in the convenience and retail fuel industry, with a deep understanding of POS and/or payment systems.
+ Strong technical acumen and experience working with Agile development teams and processes.
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
+ A problem-solver mindset with a passion for delivering user-centric solutions.
+ Inclusive leader with proven project/program management experience
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Willingness to travel as required for the role, up to 15%.
The base compensation range for this position is $92K to $145K per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
