Overview:
Florida Detroit Diesel Allison is searching for a Product Support Manager. POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for overall and daily management of operations related to Product sales and project financials.
Responsibilities:
Review and confirm financial details of new projects for the Sales teamEnsure all required paperwork is provided for new Sales projectsSetup and open new Sales projects Work with Credit department to obtain customer credit approvalsOpen and close work orders for Sales projectsMonitor costs for projectsInvoice customers for equipment and services related to Sales projectsMaintain backlog report of open projectsPrepare, review, and distribute monthly reports related to Product SalesProcess vendor invoices for new equipment (i.e., generators, transfer switches, engines)Monitor and close out deferred funds on a project basis as neededTrack equipment inventory and identify aging itemsPerform cycle counts for inventoryPrepare paperwork, set up deliveries for product shipments to customersOversee purchasing Provide customers with partial and full lien waiversMaintain database of installed equipmentEnsure that all operations comply with company policies and standardsWork with the Product Sales team to communicate project changes, vendor issues, and help ensure successful projectsManage Operations in accordance with company goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) and/or three to seven years related experience Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her Ability to perform work accurately and Ability to work independently with minimal Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken Ability to communicate in writing clearly and Ability to take care of the customers needs while following company Ability to make critical decisions while following company Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making SKILLS & ABILITIESComputer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Prior experience with Oracle systems preferred.Other RequirementsPrior experience managing business operations focused on heavy, industrial, and or power driven equipment in a facilitative Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partnering arrangement preferred.
Prior experience working with a product sales team in a similar role is also preferred.
