Job Description Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight: Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Team Management: Lead, train, and develop production staff; schedule shifts and manage labor costs.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Quality Control: Monitor product quality and compliance with health and safety regulations; address and resolve any quality issues.
Equipment Management: Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained and functioning; coordinate repairs and upgrades as needed.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to align production schedules and address any issues.
Reporting: Track production metrics, prepare reports, and analyze performance data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

The Successful Applicant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
