As a production room tech, you're responsible for the production assembly of our RF, IPTV and data networks.
You will be responsible for assuring that all production system in your location is done to our quality standards, are cost-efficient and on-time.
You will bring ideas for safety practices and a program of continuous improvement.
This role is based in Norcross, GA.
The hourly rate for the position is $22-$25/hour.
Here's your job: Plan and execute production of all network components and systems.
You're responsible for maintaining controlled and efficient workflows within the production room.
Construction and preliminary configuration of Core cabinets Identify efficiency improvements in construction of our networks Communicating with Production room manager on the production schedule and maintain a customer service mentality.
Maintain the Production Room daily safety and cleanliness.
Document a structured build/test/ship process, and measure success based on KPIs you designate with the production room manager.
Assist the project operations team if deemed necessary by your manager.
Experience you bring to the table: Experience with commercial-grade networking equipment.
Experience with fiber and copper-based network technologies.
Experience with CATV components (RG6 cable, Sat.
Amps RF meters) Complete understanding of electrical, analog, digital, electronic, switch, and routing concepts.
Certifications such as Net+, A+, CCENT. You'll love this job if this describes you: Time Management.

Technical aptitude.
Pick up on technical things quickly, and you are good at learning new products and new technologies.
This specifically includes: reading blueprints, installing and configuring networking equipment, testing methodologies, and Internet connectivity, RF troubleshooting.

Listen to customers (internal and external), address their needs and concerns, and keep customers informed by providing status reports and progress updates.
Deliver on service commitments, meet established or agreed upon deadlines, and maintain supportive relationships with customers.
Taking initiative. Respond quickly and appropriately to requests that come to you from internal and external customers.
Assume you're wholly responsible for owning an issue to its conclusion (including solving the problem or escalating it in a timely manner).
Requirements Notes about this role: You must be able to work flexible hours and extended hours as needed to meet production deadlines.
You must be able to travel to assist with installations if deemed necessary by your manager.
You'll use your hands to type, use power tools.
You'll stand, walk, reach with arms and hands and due to the need to review client sites, may have to step over, climb or balance around obstacles, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Our equipment can be heavy, you'll need to lift up to 75 lbs.
