Production Supervisor

Job summary
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in the construction of factory-built housing within a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities
• Examine blueprints to determine the dimensions of the structure.• Study production schedules and assign employees as required to meet production schedules.• Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of our product.• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the work crew.• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.• Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.• Calculate timecard totals and production records.• Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.• Set up machines and equipment.
