Production: Technical Director

The Technical Director sets up, tests and executes switching of video content to the correct screens and outputs for different elements of each service.
Primary FunctionsWeekly focus on Weekend Worship (Saturday PM, Sunday AM, and Sunday PM services) and Student Ministry Wednesday evenings.Prepare for services, including:Load and test switcher macros before service run-through.Set-up and video record each service.Route online output for each service.Set-up and test broadcast host camera and lightingSwitch screen content for various elements during each serviceSwitch cameras based on Video Director's calls during each service.Restore switcher settings after services.Personal ResponsibilitiesAdhere to Lutheran Church of Hope Staff Covenant for spiritual, personal and professional relationships and behavior.Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer and personal learning.Skills, Education and Experience RequiredAt least age 21.Experience volunteering with the Production team is helpful but not required.Possess Christ-centered, joy-filled passion for ministry which flows from a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus ChristCommitment to always reflect in the best possible light Lutheran Church of Hope, its staff, and the mission, vision, and values of its Constitution.Hours: Part-time, hourlyRequires weekends, evenings, and holidaysOn a 2–3-week rotation, generally 10-15 hours per rotation weekSample schedule might be Saturday 2:00-7:00 pm and Sunday 6:15 am – 1:15 pm, or Sunday 2:00-7:00 pm, or Wednesday 4:15-9:30 pm.Supervisor: Production Team Leader
