ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and we are seeking an Assembly Production Trainer to join our growing team in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada. The Assembly Production Trainer is responsible for training and developing production staff in assembly processes to ensure high-quality production output. This role involves designing and implementing training programs, assessing trainee performance, and working closely with the production team to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays at 8:00 - 5:00pm.
\n Key ResponsibilitesTraining Program Development:Develop and deliver training programs for assembly line workers, focusing on safety protocols, quality standards, and efficient production techniques. Design and develop comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees in various assembly processes.Create training materials, manuals, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to support the training programs. Training Delivery:Collaborate with plant and safety leadership to identify areas for process improvement. Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and classroom-style training for production staff.Demonstrate assembly techniques, tools, and equipment usage to ensure proper understanding and implementation.Model and teach the production team to follow quality control procedures, emphasizing attention to detail. Performance Assessment:Collaborate with plant leadership to identify areas for process improvement. Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, observations, and feedback sessions.Provide constructive feedback and guidance to leaders and trainees to help them improve their skills and performance.Address quality-related concerns promptly and reinforce adherence to standards.Monitor employee performance and address skill gaps through targeted training. Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for improvement in the assembly process and work with the plant leadership team to implement changes. Suggest modifications to assembly procedures, workstations, or tools to enhance productivity and reduce errors. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously enhance training programs. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of training sessions, trainee progress, and certification statuses.Prepare and present regular reports on training effectiveness and outcomes to leadership, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Document safety incidents or violations during training sessions. Team Collaboration:Collaborate with plant leadership and various team leaders to identify training needs and schedule training sessions that align with production goals. Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that training programs align with quality standards and requirements.Foster a positive learning environment and encourage teamwork among trainees.Provide ongoing support to the production team as they transition to new duties. QualificationsAssociate's degree is required; additional technical training or certifications in manufacturing or assembly processes is highly desirable.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment with a focus on improving and enhancing assembly processes and previous experience with designing training materials, instructor-led training, and technical training. Previous experience in a training or supervisory role required.Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs).Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other elements typical of a production facility.Personal protective equipment (PPE) required. \n$65,000 - $75,000 a year
The salary range for this role is $65,000 - 75,000 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a of factors, such as candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.
