Job Overview & Responsibilities As a production Operations Leader overseeing the Centaur V Upperstage team, one would be responsible for:
This leader will support Upper Stage IACO (Integrated Assembly Check Out) on a 4x10 Mon-Thurs Shift 1 (day shift) schedule Leading and managing various organizations in Production Operations (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost) Providing staffing, managing disciplinary corrective action, training, and weekly monitoring of cost/schedule performance, motivating the workforce, and identifying and clearing constraints to production Direction Union hourly work force and salaried support staff Ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule of production hardware Supporting continuous improvement for work areas Building a capable workforce into high performance work teams utilizing perfect product delivery concepts Must be willing to work different shifts if required and may require some overtime Required Education High School/GED
Required Years of Experience Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
Basic Qualifications Previous project management, team lead, or mentor experience Experience with: Driving ownership Being a hands-on coach Team development Proven experience with cost and schedule management, electronic work orders, and non-conformance systems Previous knowledge/understanding of lean manufacturing and manufacturing execution systems Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Must be able to work 4x10 Monday through Thursday day shift Must be able to work regular overtime Preferred Qualifications Experience with Final Assembly operations What makes ULA different?
