Working under the supervision of the Area Director, assisting with administrative and operational duties, as well as data collection and analysis. This position is responsible for supporting all programs across California and is essential to the programs' success. They will perform administrative duties for programming on the Climate Resilience/Disaster Preparedness and Public Health teams, as well as support with data collection and analysis.
\n Responsibilities:Collect, analyze, and synthesize data for programming across the State of California, supporting teams focused on reducing gaps in public health, emergency preparedness and mitigation, and other relevant fieldsSchedule and coordinate staff meeting and other meetingsCoordinate pick up and delivery of sensitive dataOrganize and maintain department files, electronic and physicalOrganize and coordinate supplies from our field operations teamsAssist in onboarding new programs staffServe as administrative liaison for California programs with finance, communication, logistics, and HR depts.Maintain internal tracking system for all programs expenses to facilitate the approval of invoicesHelp prepare reports and grants applicationsAssist in making budget modifications and reviewing financial reportsAttend programs' weekly meetings, bi-weekly leadership meetings, bi-weekly social media meetingsImplement social media platforms' content strategies to build community onlineIdentify and interpret social media trendsPlan and coordinate social media posts for all programs with social media managerProvide administrative support to programs staff as neededOther duties as assigned Scope and Travel:Direct Reports: N/AIndirect Reports: N/A Travel: 3-5 days to the San Gabriel Valley (cities of El Monte, South El Monte, and Rosemead) for brief period Qualifications:Essential: High School degree or GED Desired: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Business Administration, or related field. Must have reliable transportation. In accordance with CA law, the expected pay range for this CA position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
