Job Summary

The Program & Grants Coordinator will support Total Health Care (THC)'s strategy to develop initiatives and programs to meet its mission to improve the health and quality of life in the communities it serves.

Reporting to the Vice-President of Internal & External Affairs, and/or their designee, the Program & Grants Coordinator's primary function is to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the THC's ecosystem, creating and defining effective operational processes, identifying and executing strategies to build a thriving program, and play a critical role in promoting a culture of innovation. The Programs & Grants Coordinator will collect, extrapolate, and analyze data from a multitude of sources that support the development and expansion of key initiatives and programs, develop and track key metrics; support the organization's public brand reputation, as well as research, identify, draft, and submit proposals to assist THC in securing funding. The role will shape operational processes and contribute project management to support initiatives.

Essential Job Functions
Oversee and coordinate projects and initiatives to help THC achieve its goals, while also coordinating activities between multiple projects
Update monitoring systems and tools and ensure that data is reported effectively for all development, community, and storytelling programming
Write and coordinate grant proposals for federal, state, and private funding agencies
Coordinate with finance and other program leaders to develop budgets and ensure timely submission of proposals
Record and report on post program implementation key metrics and success with funders and the broader community
Provide administrative support and direction for THC's grant management, ensuring grant data requirements, deadlines, and submissions are completed in a timely and orderly fashion
Foster the growth of best practices for grant-related functions including data integrity, submission processes, metric development, and proposal writing
Compile institutional and environment information for projects, by meeting with stakeholders to gather information for proposals and reports
Maintain a database of partners and collaborators, thinking systemically about community connections and initiatives
Build relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse range of populations, organizations, and external partners with a shared interest
Maintain contacts and working knowledge of related issues and current events
Raise general awareness, and represent Total Health Care, Inc with poise and professionalism at meetings and events.
Work as part of the department team to build and maintain partnerships with individuals and organizations in alignment with community health and wellness
Other duties as assigned and with alignment with roles and responsibilities
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Positive mindset, patience and flexibility, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humor!
Must have previous experience acting as a liaison within internal departments, as well as with external clients
Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and email,

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree and a Master's preferred

2 – 4 years of related experience required.
