Senior Field Project Controls Planning/Scheduling Role Location: Delta, UT | Hydrogen Power Generation Project This senior-level position is located at the project site in Delta, Utah, working on a pioneering Hydrogen Power Generation project with a 5x10 work schedule.
Compensation: A per diem of $125 per day (available 7 days a week) is offered for professionals residing more than 50 miles from the site.
Role Overview: Under general supervision, the Senior Field Project Controls Planner/Scheduler will effectively perform all aspects of planning, scheduling, change management support, and field project duties based on their training and experience.
This role includes providing guidance to less experienced project controls personnel and acting as a lead figure within the team.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the project controls scheduling team in preparing plans and schedules, including startup and commissioning planning.Collaborate with the project team on Planning and Scheduling activities.Ensure that constructability is incorporated into the planning process.Facilitate productivity reporting and assist with critical path and float analysis.Apply key cost control processes and interface with the management team to identify and address issues.Skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Controls Analyst, specifically with Primavera planning and scheduling.Education: Preferred: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management.Alternatively: A four-year Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Cost Control or Planning and Scheduling, or 10 years of equivalent experience without a Bachelor's degree.All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include criminal/civil background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record searches, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
