Description: Project Cost Coordinator -
A Project Cost Coordinator is responsible for performing tasks related to the management of project costs. Will work directly with a few Project Managers in tracking and managing costs related to the project (engineering services, design services, construction services, materials, hours, etc..) , in support of the project controls and project management team. Team is directly responsible for capital projects for the mid Michigan natural gas project. A primary function of this role will be to coordinate the processing, routing and review of vendor invoices on multiple projects, ensuring that costs are allocated to the correct projects and that appropriate personnel are notified and/or included in the invoice review process. This role will also be required, at times, to perform some degree of validation to ensure invoice values are correct, are supported by appropriate back-up documentation, and are aligned with the terms of contract/purchase order documents. The Project Cost Coordinator will use a internal system calling Unifyer (individual will be trained to use the system). Prior experience with SAP or other systems would be helpful. Will use excel as well to track some of the vendor invoices and project costs.
