\n About the positionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team at Zeeco Europe. In this role, you will provide essential project management support, ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. Your focus will be on planning, budgeting, monitoring, and overseeing all project aspects to maintain scope, schedule, cost, and project direction t throughout the project lifecycle. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning: Define project scope, plan activities, sequence tasks, and develop schedules to meet project objectives.Risk Management: Conduct project risk analysis and manage risks and issues to keep the project on track.Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress of scope and budgets, develop clean shop release files, confirm scope of supply based on customer specifications, and perform necessary calculations and sketches for equipment design.Order Execution: Utilize Zeeco's Order Execution tool (ZOE) for all project tasks, ensuring it is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.Technical Coordination: Ensure completion of required drawings, review customer mark-up prints, and assist drafting teams with final approvals and shop releases.Budget Management: Establish and track cost budgets for projects using SAGE, working closely with the Sales Department and cost specialists.Delivery Scheduling: Maintain delivery schedules based on customer requirements and Zeeco workloads, coordinating drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control efforts.Quality Control: Engage with the QC department to meet customer/job specifications, ITP requirements, and any special QC details.Communication: Coordinate all technical and commercial correspondence related to the project, including internal communications and interactions with customers, end users, sales reps, and outside consultants.Change Management: Notify sales and estimating departments of scope changes, coordinate price adjustments with customers, and ensure all changes are documented.Documentation: Update and maintain all project documentation, ensuring it meets customer requirements.CAD Utilization: Use CAD systems to complete assignments and ensure all engineering drawings meet project specifications.Customer Support: Assist with quotation/sales support, field/sales trips, and design engineering as needed. Candidate RequirementsEducation: Engineering degree required.Experience: Minimum of four years in project engineering, with experience in plant selection, budget development and control, QC, change management, and customer communications from conceptual design to delivery and installation.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fabrication, welding, ASME standards, PED, etc., with a preference for candidates with petrochemical, refinery, or combustion experience.IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other essential software.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to assertively manage project stakeholders.Attributes: Self-motivated, confident, and capable of working under pressure.Travel: Willingness to travel worldwide as required.Location: Must live within a 1-hour commute of Zeeco Europe Head Office and possess a valid driving license.
