Position: Project Management Intern – Central Operations Hours of Work: Part-time, Non-exempt
Hybrid, In office

In This Role, You Will… Gain hands-on experience in project management and business analysis within the Central Operations division. Have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to various projects, helping with tasks such as gathering business requirements, assisting in project coordination, and supporting team communications. Work alongside experienced professionals, observing how cross-functional teams collaborate to implement key initiatives, while developing your skills in both project management and business analysis.
Assist in project coordination and observe how project managers ensure quality results, timely delivery, and management of scope, schedule, and budget.Learn to gather and document project requirements under the guidance of experienced team members.Gain familiarity with project management tools by helping to track project variables and assist in preparing project reports.Participate in project team meetings, learning how to communicate project status and issues effectively.Observe how project resources are coordinated within a matrix environment.Learn to identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.Help create and organize project documentation, gaining insight into technical and functional aspects of solutions.Develop understanding of features across Central Operations projects by supporting cross-functional activities.Assist in data collection and basic analysis to help monitor project outcomes and business goals.Support the development of project plans, including timelines and milestones, under supervision.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, learning how different departments work together on projects.Attend project status meetings and assist in preparing updates for stakeholders.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by helping gather feedback and organize data for analysis.Gain exposure to various aspects of project management and business analysis through shadowing and hands-on tasks.May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program and pursuing a degree in Project Management, Business Analytics, Business Management, or a related field of study.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning with an eagerness to learn emerging technologies and methodologies.Developing analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in organizational and project administration.Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks.Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.Preferred Qualifications: Coursework or academic projects related to project management or business analysis.Previous internship or part-time work experience in a professional setting.Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation: $15-$20/hr (commensurate with experience)
