We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Mahwah, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete and earthwork and will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in project management software.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best terms and prices.Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.Conduct regular site visits to oversee project execution and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management.Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on concrete and earthwork projects.Proficiency in project management software/platforms.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
