Job Description
The Project Manager provides support, assistance, and guidance to individuals with significant disabilities that will enable the individual to develop work skills and enhance their ability to communicate with customers in a workplace environment. Through the support and guidance given to individuals with significant disabilities, they will be able to advance their knowledge, skills, and interpersonal skills opening up a variety of opportunities including upward mobility within Didlake's organization. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the contract to ensure a positive customer relationship.
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the designated contract to ensure requirements of the contract are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budget parameters. Manages the ongoing training of personnel to ensure standard operating procedures are followed accurately. Manages work schedules to the total hours budgeted and to meet the contract statement of work. Ensures accurate and timely entry of time worked in the system. Ensures that all personnel paperwork from hiring, changes to schedules, positions, and terminations are submitted to human resources timely. Direct supervisors by assigning work routes, duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority based on job descriptions and statement of work. Workforce Support and Development Program. Ensures the supervisory team:
Knows of, and uses, the Employee Support Plans to provide supervision to program participants and Actively participate in meetings with the Workforce Support and Development team. Supervises and manages employee performance per Didlake policies and procedures and consults with supervisor and Human Resources on personnel matters. Administers a lock-out tag-out program per established protocols. Sub-contractor and vendor management
Responsible for coordinating work assignments and ensuring work is completed with identified sub-contractors. Promotes a positive relationship with sub-contractors. Completes and maintains compliance with all Didlake required training and upholds Didlake Policies and Procedures. Provides input for the base and follow-on years for a contract renewal. Maintains and generates necessary records and reports required by the contract. Positively represents Didlake in meetings with external customers. Oversees efficiency and quality control indicators to ensure contract requirements are met or exceeded. Knows and communicates the work environment, both positive and negative, to the Operations Manager. Models dependability, teamwork, strong ethics, and professional appearance. Fosters an atmosphere that promotes Human Rights for all individuals with disabilities and ensures training, and awareness of the responsibilities of all personnel regarding Human Rights. The manager is expected to provide responses to the customer within 15 minutes during regular working hours and within two hours after hours. Responsible for scheduling work orders that are additional reimbursable services. Responsible for snow removal from sidewalks and entrances. Completes and maintains all required Didlake training. We provide rewarding and purposeful work. Requirements Education/Experience/Requirements: High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience of similar size and scope. Prior management experience is required. Must be able to read, speak, write, and communicate in the English language. The manager is expected to be on-site during assigned hours and available after hours for emergencies including weekends and holidays unless there is alternate coverage assigned and agreed upon with the Operations Manager. Skills and Abilities: Ability to pass background review and hold a building access badge. Must possess strong communication skills including the ability to create, read, and interpret documents. Must possess strong Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartphones, and Applications. Ability to interact, train, and resolve personnel issues.
