\nEssential Responsibilities Project and Team Management: Oversee project tasks and contract staff, ensuring effective completion and adherence to responsibilities.
Budget Oversight: Monitor project expenses to stay within budget.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison with key officials, including the COR, ANA Commissioner and Deputy, Senior Advisor/Chief of Staff, and Program Managers.
Documentation and Advisory: Document processes with project management tools, provide advisory support, and recommend changes to maintain compliance.
Hybrid Team Management: Lead a team of remote and on-site professionals.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Grants Management Mastery: Strong expertise in federal grant regulations and administration, with specific experience in agency-wide initiatives.
Tribal Government Relations: In-depth knowledge of the Federal Government's relationship with Tribal governments.
Strong Communication Abilities: Both written and verbal communication skills are critical for engaging with senior officials and stakeholders.
Research and Analytical Skills: Proficient in researching and analyzing project data to meet federal business requirements.
Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead high-stakes projects and manage a hybrid team effectively.
Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree minimum, with experience that can substitute for formal education if applicable.
Experience: Significant experience in federal grants administration and working with Native American issues or underserved communities.
Preferred Credentials: PMP certification and an advanced degree related to federal systems, grants management, or program administration.
