Overview Project Manager - Revnue Cycle Management Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
Monday- Friday: Hours will vary.
Must be willing to travel to Downers Grove, IL and work on-site.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Revenue Cycle Project Manager's primary responsibilities are to support revenue cycle management initiatives by providing oversight of large, complex projects, impacting cross functional departments, throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of multiple, simultaneous projects ensuring consistency with revenue cycle management strategies, commitment, and goals.
Responsibilities Lead, develop and manage project objectives, governance, plans and communications that require cross functional coordination Drive and ensure successful delivery of multiple projects Set project controls, governance, and standards Drive analytics and report development efforts.
Establish and meet timelines and due dates Own the day-to-day detailed aspects of assigned projects to ensure successful completion Communicate clear expectations with stakeholders, executives, sponsors and team members while continually managing expectations throughout the life of projects.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including charter, scope, goals, metrics, milestones, and deliverables Communicate project objectives, goals, and progress to key stakeholder Develop deeper level business and functional requirements to support business and technology projects.
Provide project status reports, which include budget, timeline, issues, risks and scope Partner with stakeholders to address potential risks Document and maintain documentation for project in corporate PM tools Identify and resolve issues; manage dependencies to ensure timely execution Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects according to agreed upon scope and budget Support and augment project methodology to enable more efficient use of resources and enable successful completion of initiatives Develop and execution mitigations when off-track Support development of presentation and communication materials tied to projects, programs and general RCM performance. Define key metrics, status and corrective actions for various audiences.
Track change management and communication plans in parallel to core project deliverables.
Engage with multiple levels of the organization to communicate project status and needs.
Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in management, business, or a related field required.
EXPERIENCE: Three or more years of experience working in project management, supporting multiple departments and stakeholders.
Previous experience working in healthcare and revenue cycle management highly preferred.
Must be proficient in presentation development.
CERTIFICATION: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
