Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Project Manager to oversee technical projects for the US Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT) Directorate of Intelligence (A2) at Shaw AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Provide support for the coordination and completion of A2 IT projects, participate in meetings and seminars, maintain integration notes and project documentation, track and report project tasks, and provide after action reports. Oversee all aspects of projects, develop and track milestones, coordinate manpower and monitor and summarize progress to leadership. Support exercise planning and inspections; submit, update, track, monitor and close requirements. Support information assurance processes and requirements. Develop and maintain Project Status Reports for each project, project documentation, incorporate tasks accomplishments, planned tasks for next month and a consolidated issue list. Develop and maintain a comprehensive Project Management Plan that incorporates recognized project management best practices to guide all tasks in this framework; include key metrics that define and measure project success. Conduct weekly status meeting with deployed personnel and CONUS personnel to discuss tasks in-progress. Develop and maintain continuity binders/knowledge transfer for all supported functions. Develop and submit a Project Management Monthly Status Report. Qualifications 3+ years experience in project management. Must be PMP certified. Must have a background in a technical field and experience managing technical tasks. Able to balance new projects with O&M efforts. Proven expertise in managing resources, schedules, and risks. Experience overseeing all phases of the project life cycle. Must be able to work closely with technical teams and government program managers with equal efficiency. Knowledgeable of MS Project or similar tool. Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
