Job Title: Project Observer
Job Description
Perform all phases of field assignments at US Postal Warehouse in Forest Park or other job sites in the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities include:
+ Interpreting specifications, working with drawings, and conveying intent to the contractor.
+ Manage all aspects of field inspection, testing, testing coordination, sampling, equipment, and equipment maintenance on assigned projects.
+ Obtain and record field data in a legible and organized fashion as required by the plans, specifications, or project staff.
+ Generate and compile field reports.
+ Collaborate with project staff on design changes and communicate with all entities to keep everyone fully informed.
+ Record daily installed construction quantities to review payment requests in terms of progress and amount completed to date.
