Current Contracts or Proposals: Prepares and coordinates the creation, modeling and re-engineering of the Integrated Master Schedule for new or existing programs.
Utilizing applicable project management tools, implement network logic and measurement methods to perform critical path and risk analyses.
Establishes and coordinates business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives.
Communicates schedule impacts and proposes corrective actions to applicable stakeholders.
Implements, maintains and manages planning products in support of planning processes.
Perform independent network analyses resulting in reports and metrics.
Conducts data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepares for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management.
Maintains and coordinates vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the Integrated Master Schedule, and the Program Summary Master Schedule.
What will this role typically involve?
• You will collaborate with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management while working within the planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into a performance measurement baseline
• You will work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between partners
• You will assist in negotiating hand-offs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required
• You will serve as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering
You will Prepare Reports or collaborate on Creating Custom schedule related Reports.
Basic Experience:
• Hands-on experience with planning tools (i.e.
Open Plan, Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.)
• Experience with critical path, path-to and float analysis
• Demonstrated experience planning major programs from concept through delivery
• Experience Leading a Proposal
• 8-10 years of solid planning / scheduling experience
Desired skills
• Strong understanding of the Program Performance Management Process
• Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule and rolling wave planning
• Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines and with Senior Level Management
• Experience operating in MS Project Server environment
• Demonstrated ability to solicit and obtain schedule input from stakeholders
