We are seeking a driven Propeller Blade Designer to join our experienced Propulsion Hydrodynamics team in our own Hydrodynamic Research Centre, located in Kristinehamn. Our collaboration with the research community ensures that we are at the forefront of technical development.
As a Propeller Blade Designer, you will closely collaborate with shipyards, ship designers, and ship owners to transform their requirements into efficient and sustainable solutions. Using CFD and model testing, you will develop and adapt propeller and rudder designs to meet specific customer needs. Our unique testing facility with cavitation tunnels allows us to deliver cutting-edge solutions tailored to each vessel and according to expectations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver and lead high-quality hydrodynamic research projects on time and within budget. You will ensure the quality of your work is exemplary and actively work to continuously improve the group's methods and processes.

Qualifications and experience We believe that you have a genuine interest in boats, ships, and the marine environment. You hold a master's degree in mathematics, engineering physics, Naval Architecture, or equivalent. Due to the nature of an international customer and supplier base, a high level of English, both written and spoken, is important. Communication skills in other languages are considered an advantage.
We appreciate your ability to act on your own initiative and make things happen with a methodical and systematic approach. You should be able to analyze complex issues and deep dive into technical problem-solving without losing focus on delivery. Teamwork is key to succeed in this position; we therefore highly appreciate your ability to cooperate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information, and support others in the pursuit of team goals.
