Job Description We are seeking a collaborative and driven Proposal Writer to join our Strategy team. You will immerse yourself in Govini's technology and service offerings to create compelling proposal submissions for competitive wins in the federal market. The Proposal Writer will act quickly to understand the customer's needs and deliver pointed proposals that highlight our unique value proposition and revolutionary Decision Science capabilities.
In order to do this job well, you must have hawk-eyed attention to detail and passion for delivering compliant, professional-grade proposals within rapid turn-around times. The ideal candidate can work cross-functionally throughout the organization to assemble the necessary internal team to deliver winning proposals. \n Scope of ResponsibilitiesResponsible for writing and developing high-quality, professional proposals for public sector RFxs for Govini's SaaS solutionParticipate in the analysis of opportunities with sales, marketing and client-facing teams to create a winning proposal strategy and themePrepare the response outlines and delegate responsibilities within the internal team and teaming partnersLead all proposal development reviews and execute/facilitate proposal revisionsElicit clarifying information from procurement officials throughout the process and remain current on all amendment and modificationsTailor technical response content to fit customer requirementsSimultaneously manage multiple responses by balancing milestones and due datesEnsure responses clearly convey the proper key messages, value propositions, and differentiatorsDevelop new, and leverage existing, content as needed for proposal responsesAssist in monitoring federal websites to identify new business opportunities and updates to current pursuitsDiligently maintain CRM and other internal tracking systems to assist in prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, contracts, activities and tasks QualificationsUS Citizenship is required Required Skills Bachelor's degree required5+ years of substantive and demonstrable federal proposal management experience, preferably with the DoDStrong understanding of the federal acquisition process, including FAR, RFI and RFP, source selection, evaluation criteria, compliance matrices, and standard terms and conditionsExcellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on writing and editingPrevious experience writing proposals for a SaaS-based company or related technology organizationAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environmentImpeccable attention to detailAbility to execute against tight deadlines Desired Skills Experience working in the nuances of a startup environmentExperience with IDIQ contracting with demonstrated and verifiable success in preparing task order responseExperience with Shipley or other capture management strategies preferredSalesforce.com or similar CRM experience preferred
