Essential Functions:Provide tax and consulting services to the firm's clientsProvide timely, high quality client service that exceeds client expectationsDevelop and manage professional relationships with clientsCoordinate, organize and schedule engagements to ensure all deadlines are metCommunicate and engage with clients to ensure their best interests are achievedAssume responsibility for routine and non-routine engagements, including planning, technical issues and other decisionsResearch tax issues and solutionsDemonstrate and acquire professional and subject matter expertiseProvide timely feedback on each engagement to ensure staff learning and developmentFacilitate in monitoring the quality of our product and the performance of our personnelFacilitate and participate in "in-house" CPE, training and team-building activitiesAssist in special projects assigned by PartnersSupervise all stages of professional work and leverage previous experience whenever possibleSupervise and act as a mentor for senior associates and experienced AssociatesLeadership Expectations:Develop professionally by promoting the firm, increasing firm profitability, training and developing staffTake the initiative to participate, seek and positively influence the outcomeMotivate others, helping them to understand and visualize professional/personal goalsDisplay respect and fairness while managing othersProvide technical expertise recognized both in and outside the firmEvaluate the performance of team members on the basis of merit and skill, addressing performance issues in-the-momentTeam Relationship Expectations:Demonstrate integrity, ethical decision-making and behaviors that build trust across teams and with clients.

Desired Skills and Experience:Certified Public Accountant; Bachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum 5 years' recent experience in public accounting with emphasis in taxationStrong working knowledge of state and local jurisdictional tax planning, consulting, and compliance workExperience with S Corporations and PartnershipsAbility to perform work on tax/consulting engagements with minimal supervisionClick here to apply online
