About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Purchasing Agent, you will:
Identify and build relationships with new and existing vendors for cost-effective purchasing.
Negotiate pricing for supplies and services to maximize savings.
Manage orders for consumables, production, and office supplies across all departments.
Collaborate with finance, production, manufacturing, and customer service teams to ensure purchasing needs are met.
Maintain and enter purchase orders using Radius, ensuring proper authorization for each transaction.
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Purchasing Agent, if your background includes: Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience; printing/packaging industry experience is a plus.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, and the ability to learn purchasing software (Radius).
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
High school diploma required, with the ability to understand and apply pricing concepts such as discounts and ratios.
