The company is seeking candidates for a Replenishment Supervisor position at its Retail Support Center. Candidates should be flexible and detail-oriented with a great attitude while ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Qualified individuals should be organized and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy. The position will focus on coordinating the efforts of all staff to develop a highly effective supply chain focused on customer satisfaction and brand image.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESJob responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Lead and direct the replenishment buying and account payable vouching staff.Work with category managers in maintaining and monitoring purchases and inventory stock levels.Purchase products for the stores utilizing company reordering practices, including preparing, issuing and maintaining purchase orders.Utilize computer applications and reporting tools to aid purchasing operations in maintaining proper stock levels, accurate cost of goods, and accurate inventory.Help monitor supplier performance through purchase order fill rates, vendor returns, and accuracy of invoice costs.Assure minimum orders to create efficiencies in reduction of cost for inbound freight.Assist store and distribution associates with questions and issues.Develop positive work relationships with other staff. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well, and effectively relay information.Practice punctual and reliable attendance.Perform other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma (or equivalent).3+ years' experience supervising personnel.Possess intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record.Demonstrate proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.Lift, carry, push, pull, and load up to 30 pounds.Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers and customers.Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in supply chain management or another related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Experience buying, category analysis, or retail inventory management.Product knowledge in one or more of the following areas: feed, seed, pet food & supplies, horse/equine, hardware, fencing, lawn & garden supplies, animal health, tack, clothing & footwear, or wild bird supplies.Knowledge utilizing retail inventory management or purchasing systems, or other query-based analytic or forecasting software.HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULEThis is a full-time, in-person, hourly position. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
