As a QA Engineer, you will oversee all testing activities assigned to the team, ensure they are performed in a timely manner with minimal technical debt, while maintaining the highest quality, and support the technology roadmap for the team aligned to leadership and business priorities. Responsibilities/Job Duties: As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for delivery of quality technology initiatives with the following focus: Utilizes an expertise in quality assurance testing to develop solutions that enhance the business impact of activities such as ensuring the quality of systems, products, and business processes or services Coordinates with team members in the designated business area to review and adjust strategies for quality assurance testing practices. Adjusts testing procedures to ensure all acceptance criteria are thoroughly verified Coordinate End-to-End testing across different product and domain teams Participate in peer reviews of test plans and test cases to gain insights into best practices and identify areas for improvement. Guides testing teams in developing comprehensive testing plans tailored to specific business needs Adapts testing methodologies to meet compliance standards and business requirements Anticipates potential risks and challenges in the testing process and develops strategies to address them effectively Assist in developing test plans for system products, business processes, or services to ensure comprehensive coverage of acceptance criteria. Design test automation scripts for UIs, web services, APIs Partner with development and other team members, and work closely with offshore QA teams to create agile test automation solutions, accelerating Schwab's SDLC processes and meeting critical business objectives. Proactively communicates with team members and stakeholders to ensure they are consistently informed about relevant developments and plans Maintain tools used in during test development including source control, test management and release systems What you have Required Qualifications: 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance. Proficiency with using IVR Automation tools like CYARA Velocity and able to build automation scripts independently. Experience with formal test tools like Atlassian Zephyr, HP Quality Center/Microsoft Test Manager, MS Team Foundation Server, Automation tools like Cyara/Hammer and Selenium. Experience in testing IVR Applications both DMTF and Speech. Familiarity with Selenium or other industry leading tool sets. Experience converting business user stories and functional system requirements into test cases. Working knowledge of Agile, Iterative development process and methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Contact Center testing experience and deep understanding of environments like NICE In Contact Cxone/Genesys Pure Engage cloud or similar. Experience with Agile software development methodologies and QA responsibilities within an Agile Scrum Team Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly energetic, geographically dispersed environment. Ability to communicate effectively, write detailed and thorough documentation, troubleshoot and problem solve. Passion for building solutions through automation, driven by innovation and commitment to lifelong learning Experience with financial domains is a plus.
