Position OverviewQAEs are responsible for driving our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies and for reporting on test progress, metrics, issues, and risks. You will write high-quality and maintainable test cases, test plans, and test strategies. You will reproduce product defects and script failures to assist developers or other testers and identify, track, and accurately report defects found. You will create automation scripts for low-complexity test cases based on feasibility analysis done by the QA/DEV teams. You will acquire knowledge of the features and detailed functional requirements of the work to execute your assigned tests and find gaps in the test plan/test coverage. You will have the ability to deep dive into applications, comparing features between various versions and identifying changes made within versions.
You will work with Product Management, User Experience, and other development teams to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests.
