Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

QA Automation Engineer Location: Everett, MA 02149 ( Onsite ) 12+ months of Contract Summary: Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce-based solutions Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce test applications, workflows, and integrations Support agile scrum teams in the test script development and execution of system and end-to-end testing for Salesforce based applications. Automate business processes and data management to improve efficiency and productivity Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality, data, and integrations Provide training and documentation to end-users on Salesforce features and capabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce solutions meet evolving business needs Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates and enhancements to identify optimization opportunities Gather feedback and close any gaps found on these requirements and specifications. Occasionally Work with UX/UI/dev leads/PMs to divide and plan the project into sprints and explain the projects to developers and designers. Creation and execution of QA test plans/scripts and Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality Help create a culture that motivates teams to ensure zero defects leak into production Partner with DevOps engineers to fully automate testing throughout the release & delivery processes in the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate with the Center of Excellence architect and developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes. Perform usability testing to ensure user interface designs meet user needs. Document and track defects and participate in defect triage meetings. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment where empathy for and responsiveness to business stakeholders is key.? Perform other duties, as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant, Tester, Administrator, or Developer Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce-specific programming languages Great organizational, analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills, plus Solid problem solving and time management skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to deliver effective solutions. Experience in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams Certified Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer certification is preferred Must Have- Regression testing (Web-based and Client Server enterprise Applications) Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) supporting technologies (GIT, GitLab, Docker, etc.) Agile Experience Experience in State government is a plus
