We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring that every part produced meets our stringent quality standards, with ZERO Defects, as directed in the work instructions. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES · Will routinely monitor parts produced at each machine per work order instructions.
· Will inspect work orders and report any needed corrections
· Will take the following action if at any time part quality is found to be substandard.
-Notify the shift supervisor so the quality problem can be corrected.
-Identify when the quality problem started by inspecting previous cartons, shifts, etc.
-Identify and segregate all affected products.
· Will verify first part quality immediately after setup completion before any production is run.
· Will perform all special testing required by customer.
· Will verify that every product is correctly packaged and labeled, including pallets of finished product.
· Will aid in properly identifying material lot numbers and ensure that COC's and packaging have the proper identification.
· Will ensure that grinders and regrind materials are properly identified.
· Will ensure that special test parts are properly packaged, identified, and moved to a designated location.
· Will occasionally help the MA's, relieving operators for breaks, stretch wrapping products, etc.
· Will communicate each product's quality status to the following shift's Quality Assurance Inspector.
Requirements · High School Diploma or GED
· Previous experience with production machines, processes, or materials in the plastics industry helpful
· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to develop relationships with employees, management, and customers effectively
